A. Hot Therapy |
|
|
1. Heat the herbal heat packs following the recommended
time for specific areas. |
|
|
2. Place in your desired area after heating. |
|
1. For additional heat, add 30 seconds each time to the recommended temperatures.
2. For clean usage, use plastic bags or microwaveable containers. |

|
|
When using an electric rice cooker,
heat packs should be placed in a warm setting with no water in it.
Even when it is set for cooking, it will automatically switch to a warm setting.
You can either sprinkle water or not.
If heat packs are kept in a rice cooker, it is readily available for use. |

|
|
It may also be steamed in a steamer (Make sure hot packs are not in direct contact with water.) |
|
|
D. Cold Therapy |
|
|
1. Place in a plastic bag. |
|
2. Keep in a freezer (cold storage or freezer for approximately 30 minutes to an hour). |
|
2. Apply to your desired areas. |
|
|
|
Please make sure you read the following prior to application to the body |
|
|
|
Make sure you check the comfortable level of warmth using your hands prior to use!! |
|
Make sure the rotating plate of the microwave works properly after removing any remaining food prior to use. |
|
Make sure that heating time is no longer than the recommended 30 seconds for additional heating when using heat packs. |
